Mount Tomah Botanic Garden
Location of Mount Tomah Botanic Garden Mount Tomah Botanic Garden is the Cool Climate Gardens of the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney - located just over 100 km west of Sydney in the World Heritage Greater Blue Mountains National Park.
Mount Tomah Botanic Garden At an altitude of over 1000 metres, features of the garden include the Gondwana, rock and formal gardens, Conifer collections, seasonal displays, walks through the rainforest or following in the explorer's path, plus the magnificent views from the viewing platforms.

While exploring the Gondwana garden, don't forget to keep an eye out for the Wollemi Pine (Wollemia nobilis). That's not to say that the Wollemi Pine is the only highlight - far from it, as there are now over 5000 species of plants being grown from all cool climates around the world, there are plenty to choose from.

Guided tours of the gardens can be organised with prior arrangement as this can be a very informative way to enhance your visit before being let loose to explore on your own. 

You will need to set aside at least half a day for your visit so take a picnic or enjoy lunch / afternoon tea in the Mount Tomah Garden Restaurant. Please note that there is a charge for admission.
