Sydney's Best Bed and Breakfasts has been formed to promote and market Sydney accommodation (bed and breakfast) properties in the Greater Sydney Region. In forming a company, we have set standards and expectations that are common to all establishments without taking away from the unique values and differences that are a feature of each individual host.

The key feature of member properties is high standards and adherence to a code of conduct.

Member shareholders must, as a minimum:

Operate a bed and breakfast establishment in the Greater Sydney Region
Achieved a minimum rating of three star as assessed by AAA Tourism - The STAR ratings are independently assessed by AAA Tourism, the national tourism body of the Australian motoring organisations.
Be a current financial member of the Bed & Breakfast and Farmstay Association of New South Wales (BBFANSW)

Have adequate Public Risk Insurance for their operation
Hold a First Aid certificate or other medical qualifications
Have completed a Food Handlers certificate
Complied with current building / fire safety regulations
Have been in the industry for at least twelve months
Are subjected to internal inspections
Provide a high level of host hospitality to guests
